List your Top 3 Shavers

1. Gem 1912 - I consider this a must-try for any wet shaver, especially those who enjoy open comb Gillettes. I own 5 of them in a variety of conditions, and I've never spent more than $15 on one.

2. Gillette NEW LC - opened my eyes to what I really like in a razor

3. Gem Damaskeene - I've only had 3 shaves with this thing, but I understand why people like it. Somehow smoother, yet nearly as efficient as the standard 1912.

4. Gillette Slim Adjustable ('67) - Very versatile, nice and weighty, very handy for when I'm in a hurry. I tend to set it at 4, which feels about like a Red Tip to my face.

5. Gem G-Bar - This funky handle really makes it an enjoyable tool to use, and lends itself nicely to shaving my head.

I don't know that I could possibly rank the three, because i like them all, depending on what mood i am in.

This is a difficult question. Ive used many razors over the last few years, and my collection extends to approximately 150 razors. I suppose I should have kept some sort of log book, but I did not. But I'll try to answer this from memory.

1 Gillette New Belmont Deluxe.
2 Rotbart Mond Extra RFB OC.
3 Gillette Aristocrat Junior, (1949).
4 1946/47 Gillette Aristocrat.
5 Gillette New Standard.

YMMV of course.

In order of preference:

1. Merkur Futur (Don't tell my ATT)
2. ATT H2
3. Muhle R106

If you WERE wanting aesthetically pleasing... ATT would be at the top, followed by the Muhle, then the Futur.
