Why do you stop buying another brush?

I think I'm done, but thought that 3 brushes ago.

I only have two. An Omega 10066 and a VDH pure Badger. Shaving for me is not a hobby, but a daily necessity. So I don't see the need to own more than two. Plus we live in a small house with a small bathroom and there is not a lot of room. I also only have one tube of cream an only one puck of soap.

But back to brushes, I have thought that perhaps down the road I might buy another badger, but one with a bit more backbone. The VDH is a bit floppy. But for right now I am satisfied with what I have.

I might actually have hit a point where I cannot think of a good reason to acquire another brush. Reason is I might actually have just completed assembly of the shaving brush dream team -

1. French L’Occitane en Provence Plisson Synthetic Brush
2. Portuguese Semogue 1305 Superior Boar Bristle Brush
3. Italian Omega 11126 Boar Bristle Brush, Ovangkol Wooden Handle
4. Spanish Vie-Long Natural White Horse Bristle Brush, Olive Wood Handle
5. German (vintage, knot transfer/handle replacement) Reine Borste Boar Bristle Brush
6. German (vintage, handle restoration/knot replacement) Reine Borste High Mountain Manchurian Badger Bristle Brush
7. German Shavemac 177 Handmade Two-Band Silvertip Badger Bristle Brush
8. American (vintage) Made Rite Pure Badger Shaving Brush, clear Lucite handle
9. English (vintage) G.B. Kent & Sons Badger Bristle Brush, Butterscotch Marble Swirl Bakelite Handle
10. English Edwin Jagger Model 28 V2.0 Silvertip Synthetic Brush, Horn Handle

What do you guys think? Any ideas for a brush that I have left out that would be fundamentally different from one I already have in the roster?

Tim
