What's new

Aloha

New to this wet shaving thing. I have been lurking a little while here, and I joined to thank everyone here for the great advice and info that I have learned.

Mahalo from Hawaii!

Thank you all for the welcomes!

Can you tell us about you shave routine and gear.

I just started out, I picked up a Feather "Popular" with Feather blades. I have a Muhle synthetic, which I love. Currently using TOBS sandalwood, alum block, and Pinaud Clubman AS. Since I have started I have got the best shaves of my life. I used to not shave daily due to the breakouts and irritation I used to get with cartridge blades. I now thoroughly enjoy it! Skin is cleaner and clearer. No more razor burn and irritation, due to the blade anyway.

I am having a few issues with dry skin now. Looking and ordered a few AS balms to see if that will help out. I need something that will keep the skin moist, yet not to oily or greasy, due to the breakout I get. Still trying to research and get the right combo down.
