    Edit: Unless your goal is specifically to open the link in a new window, in which case I don't believe it's possible with vBulletin.

    Happy to help. There's also a little button somewhere in the middle of the toolbar that will automate the process for you. it looks like a globe with a chain-link or heavy-duty paperclip in front of it. If you click that you can just paste the link. It'll highlight the text so you can type that in right away too.
