I am aware of this, but unfortunately the big long thread that kept getting bumped just drove me mad with brush news... Or lack of it

Is there a way to make a locked sticky with the official scoop on the brush so people know whats up but can't add to it resulting in the 900+ posts?

The guys overseeing this project are still ironing out details. They'll let us all know when these brushes are ready. Like you, everyone is patiently impatient. Or impatiently patient. Whatever.

If it turns out as well as the last forum brush, it will be worth the wait. Since this is a project run by guys volunteering their time and effort, we aren't bugging them about it.

I'm sorry if I come across as buggy or anything I was just making sure that it wasn't available somewhere and I didn't know about it since I'm in the process of getting ready to upgrade from the brush I have right now. Sorry for bringing up old news.

We don't need a sticky to say that there is no announcement yet on the availability of the brush. But you can count on there being a sticky to announce the brush, along with a blazing headline on the home page.

Until then, no need to ask because that won't speed things up.

Fine, but if this the decision I don't think it is fair for the mods to jump on the poster who is unaware of the situation who dare ask the question.
