M-Pro 7 With Gun Grease?

Any one ever use M-Pro 7 LPX gun oil with a gun grease like Tetra, Mil-Comm or Slip 2000?

Basically what I want to do is use the M-Pro 7 oil to coat the gun, and use it as an anti-rust, general oil because it doesn't wear off or evaporate. I then want to use the grease for the lubrication points as I normally would.

I just wonder if this would cause one or the other to gum up, or create any other problems/failures?

No, LPX is great stuff. I have used it off & on for almost 4 yrs. Grease is merely oil with a thickener added.

+1 on M-Pro products. I stay away from any ammonia based fluids. For the external frame of the gun, I just use a silicon cloth.
