Cleaned up a Bengali Cutthroat

A friend gave me an old Bengali cutthroat razor that was a bit rusty. I followed his advice and used molasses as a chelating agent to remove the rust. I then buffed the blade with a silicone metal polishing wheel in my Dremel and by hand with metal polishing paste on a rag. There is some minor pitting.I sharpened the blade on a fine stone and used the rough side of an old belt as strop.

I've used the cutthroat twice, obviously without disastrous results (See my avatar), but it made me nervous!

Can anybody tell me anything about how old this razor is and any other info? The inscription says Bengali, Cadman&Sons, Sheffield, England.

Looks like you could use some pins and washers to finish it up.
You wouldn't happen to have "before" photos would you?

Unfortunately I did not take a before picture, because I got carried away by my urge to clean up the razor. There was a bit supericial surface rust like a reddish mist on most of the blade and some more corroded areas, which were looking dark brown or even black. The spine of the blade was the rustiest.
