Found in the Wild

This year's trip to the Roundtop Spring Antique Show was a bust for shaving swag but turned up two Parker boxed pen and pencil sets in excellent condition.

First up is a first quarter 1939 Speedline Vacumatic Standard in silver pearl, box number 235. It has the palladium plated nib, Star clip and striated jewels on both caps. The pencil is a second quarter 1939.

The second is a fourth quarter 1948 Parker 51 in Burgundy with matching clicker pencil with a first quarter 1949 date code.

Couple of stunners! Dang, both look like they've never been used and stored in a capsule.
