So my son is almost at the shaving stage. A cat with a rough tongue could probably clean him up pretty well right now. He is scared to death of my straight so I got him a Schick Krona and need to get him some sample blades to try out. I just use Dorco St301 or Ladas when I use a DE so there isn't much variety in my kit. Anyone have a favorite sample pack they can recommend? I would prefer to support one of our B&B vendors, but if you have a fleabay vendor you like go ahead and recommend.

Try the sample packs from Italian Barber, Fendrihan's, Men's Essentials, or Connuaght Shaving.
They have a good selection.
Everyone has their favourite blade, and also those that do not work for them.
Only by trying them himself will he find what works best for him.

If you order from Fendrihan's, they offer some free samples which you can chose from which include Astra green or blue pack. So IF you are buying from them, consider selecting one of those packs as a free sample...
I liked West Coast Shaving's sample packs - a good variety of well-known, readily available brands.
