Sunny again! A dreamy shave. PannaCrema Labdano is one of the new "flavors" and I like it a lot. It's like shaving going back in time with scents: colophony, tree resin, old wood and old scented jackets. Very masculine, not for the easy going because its complexity. Highly recommended.
Pre: wash homemade shea butter soap and 1" hot water rinse

A little Myrsol to start, a little Zirrh to finish and this lot inbetween. The Modern has a different angle of attack than other razors as the blade lies so flat - its v efficient though as it all weighs so much - no skip or jumping so no stragglers whatsoever, was using a Voskhoƌ (1). But the angle has your elbows a bit more 'out' than usual.
The ice and a slice NSS is fantastically fragrant.

Finally!! The day has come where I am the owner of an Oscar11 brush. It is loaded with an Omega knot. I cannot thank the gentleman that sold me this enough. Photos cannot possibly do this brush justice. the blue is like a beautiful crystal ice colour, while the upper part of the handle is a beautiful ivory/mother of pearl. the brush has a wonderful weight to it as well. the Tobacco 1812 is a dead ringer for the Havana ASB in my opinion. I love the pairing of the two.
