Vintage Yardley Brilliantine Tin Photos

Gents, after a several month absence, our digital camera was finally found. Lost in the spare bedroom in a box of 'stuffage' where we least expected it to be. Anyroad, I am glad to have it back and was able to snap some photos of the vintage Yardley solidified brilliantine tin I found a few years ago for next to nothing in antique mall. I REALLY need to build some kind of light box to take these photos and use the tripod as well. Sorry for the cropped bottom edge of one of the shots. I was holding the cam and trying to get it to auto set itself to macro. So here they are. I hope they are of some interest.

I currently use Yardley Lavender brilliantine. Its great stuff and the modern jars still have the same picture on the front. The scent is a great blend of lavender and sandal wood to my nose. Great pics by the way.

Thank you Stuff. It really is a nice old tin. Would that the manufacturers of other toiletries would adopt the retro look in their packaging. Classy and classic.
