Default Are Feather AC blades stainless?

In the instructions it states to disassemble(not completely) the razor after every shave and to let the razor and blade dry. I do this after every shave but wonder why it states that. Could the blades be carbon steel? I have the DX model which is stainless steel so surely that cannot rust if i didn't dry it continuously.

I have been using an AC for over a year and have never had a blade even start to rust. Sometimes, I won't use it for a week due to my rotation.

I've had a blade rust after I forgot to shake if off. After that, I always sprayed it down with alcohol after a shave, and never had a problem.

Really? I thought almost all DE/etc blades were stainless these days, ever since the 60s or so.

I rinse and blot with a towel after each shave. Since I shave every other day, blades last 2 weeks. I have never had a rust problem.

Got no idea why they are not stainless, maybe due to cost. Regardless their shaves are brilliant and they last quite a while.
