Another great shave with a Gem. Both of my shave sticks work great. The Palmolive has a little more slickness, but the Arko makes a more voluminous lather. They are both good soaps and my 4 shaves have been great.

Few days ago Phoenix with vintage Gillette Super Silver. Arko stick.
This soap is smelling like some bathroom floor cleaner but it is VERY good for shaving.
With time you will get used to the smell and perhaps even start liking it.
Today great shave with Leresche #77 with Polsilver Super Iridium. Tabac stick.
As usual, Tabac gives good lather and smooth shave.

Pre-shave - warm face wash with all natural tallow soap from CW
Razor - Bonsa Viennese
Soap - Col. Conk's Glycerine "Lime"
Brush - Omega 80625
Alum - Razorock
Aftershave - Clubman
Balm - L'Oreal Cream
Honestly, I haven't been impressed with two of the three Conk's soaps: almond was OK, but bayrum and lime just don't load nor lather all that wellwell, the lime didn't want to stay lathered. Proraso is masterrace shaving soap in all aspects, especially scent.

Christy Safety Razor/Christy, Omega 80266, VHD Deluxe, Stephan Bay Rum, Mennen Talc.
First shave with this razor, and I enjoyed it! The Christy blade was not the sharpest but I ended up with a DFS. I included a pic of the blade packaging.

That's a pretty neat razor! After reading that label, I wonder what would happen if you returned the blade with the inspection number?
