I started down this wonderful road 28 short days ago. I have learned so much from the people here. I have done some things ive always wanted to do....

And it have acquired more than i expected.

Before: this is basically what i started with, i pifed my brother my original brush.




After: plus a dovo pearlex on the way




Its been a fun month

I see lots of good staples in there, and a few I would like to try!

Also more importantly does the wife know what you've been up to? I always get "the look" when I make purchases like this.

Way to go! Looks like full blown AD's have set in, enjoy all the great stuff you have and keep on a goin!

I have started almost 2 years ago and I still enjoy it every time I shave! It will never get boring at all for some reason.

No name boar (almost unusable)
Omega 290 (very good)
Omega 98 (amazing... But it absolutely eats lather (which is good and bad i guess))
Parker pure badger (not BAD... Just kinda.... Forgetable, i prefer the omega 98 to this)
Parker chrome silvertip (i got this today, i like it alot, the chrome is HEAVY... Which i either adore or despise... I dunno)
Parker boar (gave to my brother... Usable... But ill take the omega any day)

Bearded jack tobacco van ( only soap i have that quality wise doesnt do it for me)

Fine platinum (very nice, a little too.... Formal? For me to wear daily)

PAA Cavendish (love the smell of the soap, but as aftershave... I dunno... I get over it before its over me)

Nivea cooling balm (a little too modern for me, but very effective)
Gentleman john alum block
Dickinson witch hazel
Voodoo prince beard oil
Shea butter preshave oil ( no noticable difference for me)

The wife knows.. And is getting pretty testy lol

That doesnt sound like so much when i break it down!! Ill have to go back to the shave shop tomorrow!
