Shared birthdays.....

This morning, I stumbled upon the discovery that I share a birthday (February 2nd, hence my screen name) with Howard Johnson of 31 Flavors and orange roof fame. Out of curiosity, I decided to see who else might be in the Groundhog Day club....what an eclectic list!

  • Confederate General Albert Sidney Johnston
  • Irish novelist & poet James Joyce
  • George S Halas of NFL Chicago Bears fame
  • writer Ayn Rand

Franz von Liszt, [Ferencz], Hungarian pianist/composer, dies at 74 on my birthday. Not sure what happened to his sister Kristmaas.

I have the same day (not year) as Noah Wiley and Scott Wolf(e) and a buncha other people I've never heard of.

At least you have some decent people to share a birthday with. I share mine with OJ Simpson.

You win some... you lose some.

I share mine with Paul Stanley (KISS), Ian HIll (Judas Priest). Too bad I can't play like any of them.

Oh, O.J. isn't too bad. After all...he DIDN'T do it...there was very little evidence to say that he did, and what small trace amounts of possible evidence, (DNA, perfect matches, shoe prints, glove, etc.) were obviously tampered with.

And CERTAINLY a man has a right to break into a hotel room, with armed thugs to get back a few pieces of sports memorabilia, doesn't he?:lol:

Makes me think of...

1791, Mozart composes "The Magic Flute"
On December 5th of that same year, Mozart dies
1985, Austrian rock singer Falco records
Rock Me Amadeus!
