Recommendations on AS that is good and strong enough to replace cologne?

Wanting to try some AS that do a good job & smell doesn't disappear. Face isn't sensitive, so a basic AS is fine, just looking for a good smell that lasts & I don't need cologne. Not into aqua velva or old spice.

Great forum & a month into wet shaving & glad I stumbled onto it - still surprised that it's so under the radar.

I find the Tabac AS lasts a long time on me but if I were you, I'd have a whiff and also "bounce the fragrance" off of your significant other. It's a pretty polarizing scent.

I forgot all about this little gem, it lasts and lasts.

Hâttric Classic also lasts very long ... unfortunately both my wife and my daughters found that it was an old man's scent, so I ended up PIFing it.

Anything from Pinaud.

A lot of actual EdC's are used as AS. I'm thinking of 4711, Florida water, Pinaud Lime Sec, etc.

I have found this to be true as well. You may also like the Fine AS. American Blend smells really good.

Another vote for Fine. They last all day.

I came to post this. Pretty good longevity and projection (for an AS). Unique scent too.

GFT Spanish Leather AS lasts all day

TOBS Eton College also lasts all day.

Pinaud Clubman (Special Reserve, Lime Sec, Original) last most of the day on me.

D.R. Harris Sandalwood. It is basically a cologne in the form of an aftershave splash. Potent and long-lasting. It also functions well in its intended use.

The Veg follows you all day; whether you want it to or not!

Clubman Original, VIBR, and Special Reserve, Gillette Cool Wave, Tabac, Skin Bracer. All of them persist for at least several hours on me.
