Cleaning/Polishing Straight Razor:

Would this product be ok to polish a straight razor?

Should work well without a problem.

No. If that stuff is safe for silver plate it will not be abrasive enough to remove tarnish rust and gunk on a razor. You need something more hardcore like Mothers or Autosol.

Your stuff wont hurt anything, it would just be ineffective. Might be good for plastic scales, though.

If your razor is in good condition the silver polish will be fine. If your trying to remove lots of grit and grime I recommend automotive rubbing compound. Finish up cleaning with your silver polish. My preferred polish for my S.R. is Mothers Automotive Metal Polish.
