Life vest is correct. She's a good swimmer but has short King Charles Shih Tzu legs, better safe than sorry. That was on the boat last summer....window time on steroids!
I love both of my dogs unconditionally, but Mettie is special. I was worried about meeting my now Inlaws for the first time, my wife said I had to worry about Mettie more. I passed the test! She's a certified service dog, and we visit a long term care facility for the elderly, including those with varying degrees of Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
