Fatboy February

Ready for this! Love the name for my Fatboy! I'm hoping my shipment from Ireland takes a long time. Like a month. Lol. That way I don't have to fight the urge to use the shiny new R41.
Mike, I was wondering if you were out there and getting in on this! I just found this thread so I need to decide on a set up and snap a photo when I get home. I'm thinking about joining in on this. Fatboy + MWF + the One Blade in February + vintage Ever-Ready 150 brush + only old school/available in the late 50's AS. I will update later with a photo.

I've actually found that I get very similar results between my Fatboy at 9 and my 2013 R41.

Kudos to you guys who manage to take part in all 3 of the major challenges I've seen for February. I'm a head shaver with really coarse, dense hair, and I tend to shave with a steep angle, so there's no way I can get a month out of a single blade. I've gone 5 shaves with a Polsilver SI, and that's as far as I've been willing to push it. Alas, I have not had the pleasure of the MWF yet, and I still have a lot of soaps from Christmas that I can't wait to try out first.
I'll be joining you fine gentlemen for Fatboy February, it seems. I took a picture of my two Fatboys, my 1958 D4 and 1959 E3 with my favorite brush, the Omega 11126 (which I feel is a seldom-sung hero here of their brushes), and the blade I'll be using for this event and the One Blade in February event, which is the Polsilver Super Iridium. I'm going to try and tame this blade this year as two previous attempts yielded burrs on two blades from the tuck. My fiancee loves this one and purchased 100 from a member here, and I'll be using a fresh blade from one of her tucks. I'll no doubt be using the English Leather aftershave I also snapped in my poor photography skills, along with the tub of TOBS Jermyn Street cream.
The razor I wil be using is the one in the front, the '58 model, with variable settings at first. I will likely start off on a 4 for the classic passes of WTG, XTG, and ATG. Should that change, I will include the pertinent information in my posts.
Also, should someone ask, the item holding my shaving towel and washcloth is from Amazon, picked up for me by my lovely fiancee. I recommend one to every guy looking for convenience and class in holding their items until needed. It really is incredibly handy and perfect for a shaving companion!

Oh, I forgot to add that my razor has not had Captain Murphy's thorough treatment, but I am planning on sending both of them off to Chris at some point (hopefully later on this year) for replating. As you can likely tell, the plating on the one in the front is rather thin. It was also the first razor I found in the wild for $17, not including the 20% off sale they had. 
OK fellas, here is my set up for the February Fatboy Challenge. Only caveat to this challenge is that I am traveling I may have to cheat for a couple days. No problem packing the Fatboy and blade but I'm not packing the MWF.
Razor: 1959 (E1) Gillette Adjustable. Found in the wild for $20 in almost unused condition (No Captain Murphy treatment).
Setting: Likely a #5 3-pass but I may adapt as needed (see my blade choice and challenge).
Blade: NOS Wilkinson Super Sword Edge. Also in on the February One Blade Challenge. (I will go as far as I can on one blade).
Brush: NOS Ever-Ready 150 boar.
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat. I didn't even know about the Fat in February Challenge until this thread. So, I'm in!
AS: I will stay with the vintage theme and be using Old Spice, Clubman, Tabac, Aqua Velva.

Almost dropped out due to my razor giving me a few problems. Don't know if it was the razor or blade but I switched to my E4 put in a fresh blade set the razor at 6 WTG 4 ATG and 2 for touch-ups. Got a very nice BBS. So I'm still in for the long haul

Astra SP are my go-to blade as well, but I'm taking this opportunity to try out a bunch of samples I still have from trials in my other razors. I've also had good results from Treet Platinums (although they might be more of a one-and-done) and Personna Reds.
