Ever-Ready #69 Black. Double restoration.

Hello mates. I have not had much time lately to restore brushes, but I've done this double restoration in recent weeks. I had this brush, from months ago awaiting restoration. And my friend Velsus bought another. He showed to me, and I said to him that I had one just like that. I told him to send it to me, and I restored at the same time.

My brush came from USA in this box. Here you can see it in this photo, above right.



And the one of my friend is this one, as it came.













After cleaning with a cloth and polish it was well, a little better, but not enough.






So I set to work




















And the result was this, with some Finest Badger knots.

Did you repaint in the numbers?
Also, what were you doing with it on the drill? Did you make like a special chuck so you could mount the brush and spin it and polish it?
