Speick cream or soap?

Which is better in the Speick line, the shave soap or the cream? I use both creams and soaps regularly. but I just want to see which in the speick line is preferred by you guys. Also, is the AS splash better than the AS balm from Speick? Any negatives about these products?

'Better' in what way? There is only one method to find out what is 'better' for you.

I use the Speick SC but have never tried the soap. The cream is great. I love the scent and I very much like its performance. It does a great job.

Concerning the AS and ASB I would choose the AS. IMHO the ASB is a bit strange. It has the consistency and smell of the glue we used to use in grade school many years ago. Also I am not fond of its performance. I would avoid it..

Haven't tried the ASB, but the AS is AMAZING...my favorite (with Musgo AS being a close 2nd).

Haven't tried the soap yet (stick should be arriving this afternoon), but the cream performs very well. I imagine that the soap will be even better (based on reviews and my general preference for soaps, especially tallow-based ones), but we'll have to see...

I use the cream. It has the most soothing after effect of the various creams I use. The company website states the herbs used are meant to have that calmative effect.

I haven't tried the ASB, but the AS splash is great. I have both the cream and soap, and prefer the soap. YMMV.

The soap and cream have very different aromas. The soap is hard to describe, woodsy, manly, clean.... The cream almost smells mentholated to me, very herby and sharp.

I have not tried the Cream or Balm but I bet they are awesome, I say collect them all (even the EDC, Bath Soap, Deo, etc).

If Speick makes it I am sure it is good.

That is what I thought but the cream is really nothing at all like the rest. Very different.

The soap and EDC are super awesome. I used the soap this morning and I am wearing the EDC right now.

I have the stick and really enjoy it, haven't used their cream version though so no direct comparison here.

My only complaint about the aftershave splash is the cap fit isn't good on the bottle I bought. It screws down and starts to get a little tight then it snaps and screws down more. It doesn't leak but it just feels a little cheap. Other than that its great. I used the stick and A/S this evening.
