Question my good gentlemen, how long after your shave do you wait before post-stropping?

I usually get dressed and then strop
I post-strop when I'm done cleaning and hydrating my face.
I clean then dry strop my razor on suede first, then start putting stuff away while applying all the smelly stuff.

I clean and dry off my blade, put some after-shave gel on my face and then commence to stropping.
I do. Makes me believe the edge is cleaner/dryer before I put it away.
I strop also, in addition, the night before I shave (saves me from a full stropping in the morning)
