Well, so far so good. I'm pretty well loaded on anything I'd need, so necessity hasn't forced anything yet (I may run close on pipe cleaners in a few months). Secret Santa did me a big favor by sending me some Sixpence, which is the only new 'baccy I'd been seriously looking at adding. I actually did buy two cobs at my local B&M, but that was strictly for spreading the gospel of pipe smoking to a couple coworkers. Actually, the closest I've come to cracking was a Peterson sandblasted Rosslare (Friday GT knows what I'm talking about) that popped up in my eBay feed about a week ago.
So far I am coasting and feeling pretty good about it (so is my wallet), although I do find myself anxiously waiting for a 2015 B&B Tinsky to hit the street - that's the one exemption I'm allowing myself, and hopefully that'll be enough to carry me through.
And if I do make it through the whole year...well then, there may have to be some kind of humdinger of a reward for myself come January.
I will not buy any pipes, tobacco, or pipe accoutrements during 2015.
It helped me stop for a few months.Does Boris vape?

Exactly what I did this winter, shifted the budget to new Vape gear. Technically no PAD or TAD!I was thinking he could just treewhale vaping gear instead LOL!!

Maybe we exposed his real plan
Do you like vaping, you just don't like the hassle of coil building and removing the tank to fill, or messing with a dripper?
I enjoyed vaping. Liked getting good flavors or cloud chasing from my setups. And for what I was looking for, building your own coils and mech mods seemed to be the only way to get what I was looking for out of vaping. But the hassle of coil building and cotton swapping, the leaking you sometimes get and then the mess you get with dripping eventually made my interest dissapear.

Oh in that case... well there are lots of great sub-ohm tanks out there as you said. I am hopefully picking up a VS RDNA40 soonHe's on a sabbatical Till, we have to spend his money somehow LOL!!
I have a bunch of vape gear, but its on and off for me. I was into mech mods and RDA, mostly drippers. But I lost interest in RBA because the maintenance of building coils changing cotton etc., along with the finickyness and the amount of tinkering needed just got too much, so its just sitting around now with a bunch of juice. I don't even think i pulled out the cotton or the coils, so some of it might be all gunked up and rusted. Gear that I have:

Not personally, but I've heard it's not a good experience.NOt sure what all this is, but have you ever tried vaping actual tobacco ? I know there are "herb" vaporizers (mostly used for Pot I think) but I am always curious about vaping pipe tobacco.
