Although Jaybeez is fantastic, Gotta stay with Bossies

So true. I hope I get to visit one of them some day.The American side of the Rockies are just as cold!
The American side of the Rockies are just as cold!
But which American side? The North or the South? Or both . . .
You bring up a valid point- Canadians and Mexicans also inhabit North America. We in the US tend to get lazy with the term
I was really referring to Alaska . . . Their Rockies are spectacular as well!
Yes, they are. It is hard to believe that the Appalachians (which are much older) were once about as large.
There isn't anything better than a drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway in the autumnI've heard the Appalachians are some very scenic hills.

I have been away from that part of the country since 1992- I need to start saving now for a vacation in OctoberWow, that is hard to beat! We need to see that part of the US still (and many others).
Yes there is... A ride down the Blue Ridge parkway on an FJR. did that that last year, it was great!

Good point. Oh, and if I ever sell my 83 Harley (or buy a second bike) the FJR is on the top of the list. My father rides Goldwings, but those things are just too big.
