What's new

Home Bar

I don't drink liquor too much anymore but when I do it's usually rye or scotch and occasionally tequila. Considering the requirement that I would have to pay for all the bottles:

Vodka: Tito's
Gin: Ransom
Whisky: High West Double Rye
Bourbon: Woodford's Reserve
Scotch: Macallan 12
Brandy: Whatever is cheapest as I don't drink it.
Rum: I don't drink much rum and almost never white rum so I consolated to Flor de Cana 7
Tequila: Don Julio Anejo

I took the liberty of adding a couple more categories. I currently have all selections except the Stagg Jr, and the Luxardo Sambuca in my home bar.

Vodka: Stoli
Gin: Bombay Sapphire
Whiskey: Crown Royal Reserve
Bourbon: Woodford Reserve, Stagg Jr. (when available)
Scotch: Chivas Regal 12 yr. Old (blended), Glenfiddich 15 yr. Old (single malt)
Brandy: Courvoisier VSOP
Rum (white): Bacardi Superior
Rum (gold): Ron del Barrilito Three Star
Tequila: Patron Anejo
Liqueur: Gran Marnier Cordon Rouge, Luxardo Sambuca

Vodka: Woodenville Peabody Jones
Gin: St. Georges Botanivoire
Bourbon: 4 Roses Single Barrel (If you find a good one)
Scotch: Lagavulin 16
Rum: Sutherland Silver Rum
Tequila: Casa Noble Anejo

Vodka - Russian Standard
Gin - Bombay Sapphire
Whiskey - Bushmills Black Bush
Bourbon - not much experience here but I like Maker's Mark
Scotch - Glendronach 15
Brandy - Courvoisier VSOP
Rum - Wood's 100 (don't like light rums)

Pretty easy to please I think, nothing too extravagant here.

Vodka - Platinum tastes like Grey Goose but considerably cheaper, no need to splurge on something that's just getting Redbull or some soda pour over it

Gin - I have some leftover spruce boughs out back from the Christmas tree I can gnaw on if I want that taste
Whisky - Jameson 12 or 18 yr (worth the extra), Wife also likes Crown Royal
Bourbon - Jack Daniels
Scotch - Don't drink it much but I hear good things about Johnnie Walker
Brandy - Only ever tried Hennesy
Rum *white* - Captain Morgan
Rum *gold* - Captain Morgan Private Stock

Additionally,
Rum *Black* - Captain Morgan Black or The Kraken
Tequila - Patron

When in doubt pick the one with the cork in it, that s***'s classy.

Vodka - ketel one
Gin - Martin Miller's (it's the best, if you haven't tried it go and buy a bottle tonight. You can drink it strait with ease)
Whiskey - Jack Daniels
Bourbon - eagle rare
Scotch - Dimple pinch
Brandy - Remy Martin
Dark rum - Appelton special reserve
Light rum - Bacardi light (chicks love it)

Side note - Jack Daniels does not classify itself as a bourbon although it does meet all the American fair trade criteria to classify it as bourbon. I think no is complete without Jack but I also require eagle rare in my personal collection.
