How To Make Fragrances Last Longer

I just saw this on lifehacker and figured this would useful for those of us who have problems getting scents to last

moisturizing the area where you'll apply the strong stuff—like with petroleum jelly or any non-scented moisturizer—helps lock in its strength longer than spraying onto dry skin.

I haven't tried it yet so I have no idea if it will work.

Well, it does work, but only if you have very dry skin and have problems with all your fragrances. In other words, if the EDT is in itself short lived, the lotion will not prolong its life a lot.

Still, I never liked to put lotion or Vaseline on my skin :bored:

This works for me, especially in colder weather when my skin is especially dry. I use unscented Aveeno or Neutrogena lotions.

Just putting it on under my shirt is enough for me- you can use more without it being overwhelming, and it evaporates into your clothes, which holds the scent all day (I can still smell it on my shirt the next day!).
