Custom Leather Jackets?

Anyone know any good places to get quality custom leather jackets or coats made?

Somewhere that is reasonably priced, I know it'll be expensive compared to the cheap-o leather places, but not looking at something overly or needlessly expensive either.

I've been looking at Magnoli Clothiers, which seems to get good reviews, but I don't have any experience with them, and it sounds like lead time is pretty significant, which isn't a dealbreaker, but definitely not ideal.

I've found a basic coat design very similar to what I'm looking for at a site called "Leather Jacket Master" but it is fairly inexpensive and quality seems suspect with hit or miss reviews from them as well as questionable customer service reviews too. Anyone have any experience with them? I'd rather not take the gamble especially if it's something I'm wanting altered from their stock design.

I've looked around locally, or within a reasonable distance but not many tailors around that work in leather.

Any other suggestions or thoughts?

What type of coat are you looking for? I mostly only know motorcycle jacket makers and they're all spendy. Otherwise does Schott NYC sell anything you like? They have a lot of different designs and some of their jackets are still made in the USA.

its not a motorcycle jacket, more of just a casual wear jacket, but I'm fairly particular about coats and jackets, they have to be designed and made just right. I prefer a minimalist design without too many pockets or zippers, etc (which is surprisingly hard to find in a leather jacket) and they can't be puffy/bulky which is why I like leather since they perform well but aren't like the Michelin man coats heh. I'm just picky I suppose.

I did get a quote back from Magnoli and it is pricey, but not as bad as I was expecting. so they may still be an option, so if anyone does have any experience with them I would be interested in hearing how you like them.

the second one fit perfect. I am a bang on size 44R. I went down to several suit stores and tried on multiple fitted jackets to find my proper size.

at the top of the page you can choose the Bespoke option. or just contact them and see what they can do for you.
