Hello, I am thinking of picking these up as they are on sale. Im going the snuff color but I wanted to see if anyone on this website owns them and can speak on the rubber soles? Not sure if i should pay extra to get the upgrade or stick with rubber.... Thoughts?

I got a pair. Rubber works well in weather. I also have a pair of Crockett & Jones in leather. I like the A&Es even though they have gone downhill after they were sold. Enjoy them, that's a good price.

How is the sizing on the AE Gobi chucks? They are still on sale and considering a pair.

Same size as my Alden's & my Crockett & Jones. No issues for me.
