I brought mine on our last short vaca to Boston. It was really nice to be able to shave properly and not have to worry about loosing or damaging any of my nicer razors.

The Travel Tech still does a nice job shaving and they are so easy to find for such a low price that if you loose it while traveling you can replace it for less than many cartridge razors cost.

I love mine. Still assembling my full travel kit, but I knew once I saw this thing that it was going to be the centerpiece. I love that they come in a wide variety of cool cases too.

I too have one, but it didn't come in a cool case like your centerpiece did. Mine came in a gold folding plastic case. It was NOS, but they are so plentiful, I didn't think they had any collectors value. It's my travel razor, always ready to go, with a few blades tucked inside.

I bring it along with an extra handle -- usually off a Rimei or else a heavy Parker. Great for travel.
