What's new

Can we take a moment to appreciate beautiful packaging/tin art?

We all know there are certain aesthetic qualities to pipe smoking. Straight or bent. Bowl shape. Grain. Stem material. Flake color and pattern (I'm looking at you Luxury Twist Flake). Blowing O's through the air. Custom tampers. Rustication. Sandblasting.

Well, I just got in a tin of McClelland's Blackwoods Flake, and I love the packaging. It's so classy, with it's raised gold logo (and boy do I love the McClelland logo), subtle tones, simple fonts. It got me thinking about tins and packaging in general. Some tins, by comparison, look pretty ugly.

Which ones do you love? Could be tin art, company logos, bulk packaging (hey maybe there's something great out there), pipe boxes, whatever. Pictures are obviously encouraged!

Great idea for a thread!

I enjoy Kingfisher for some reason. That little bird is so welcoming

I also love the Vintage C&D tin art

I do really enjoy the SG tins. Skiff Mixture is pretty cool and so is Perfection (even though I didn't enjoy that tobacco)

This is a great thread. For years I've really appreciated some cigar bands more than others (my wife made my first humidor with a 50-count cigar box, decoupage, and some great bands), and the same appreciation extends to tins. I have the whole Drew Estate line, and they look good. All posted are nice; I especially like the Solani and Kingfisher tins. Thanks again for posting all of these.
