Chubby 2 Best Badger: better face or bowl lathering ?

Hi All,

it's all in the title.

Just got this superb brush since a week and I find it easier to get a fantastic lather from face rather than bowl lathering. Am I missing something ?

Not in my opinion. I use my Chubby 2 for face-lathering exclusively.

Generally short and stubby brushes like the chubbies are thought to be made for face lathering. For me every brush is a face lathering brush.

Not missing a thing. It's an iconic face-lathering brush. Brushes with a loft close to the knot diameter generally have more backbone which is desirable for face lathering. The Chubby is also very densely packed, which adds backbone.
