A problem with my Omega

I bought a vintage metal brush to restore, I already have a Silvertip, therefore I decided on a boar knot. Having read the reviews and based on availability I decided to buy an Omega 10075 to butcher the knot out.

I got the Omega brush today and it really looks good, other than the weight (a bit light). I'm thinking of keeping it as it is :glare:, I don't have a BAD, I really just want a good Badger and a good Boar for my daily shaves, but cutting this seems like a crime.

What do you guys suggest? Butcher or keep?

Are there any tutorials on removing the knot from a new brush?

Just buy another know and keep the brush whole. You can find boar knots all over, TGN, Whipped Dog, ebay. Since you now have a boar brush, treat yourself to a badger knot, a finest or a silvertip.
