    Default Polo 8

Just received this beauty from Lee. There is a top view, as well as some shots for perspective with a Duke 3, Emperor 3 and Chubby 1. As well as a shot for.... well, just for the helluva it.

First, lemme start off with my acquisition from March 29:

'Tis an L 4 black handle Gillette Super Speed I got at THE Flea Market in Mobile, AL. Paid a generous $5, great working condition, still haven't cleaned it up though. There were quite a few razor there, and several Old Spice mugs, really regretting not getting more, but, I'll be back!!!

    Now, for today's acquisitions:

In the first pic, you see everything I got today for $10 - yes, ten dollars! You see the Belgium Mug 02, which I have since cleaned up, an old worn out Burma Shave brush, a 40's or 50 Super Speed, no date code, a Schick Krona, silver tip, and the crème de la crème, an F 4 '60 FatBoy! It's like I bought the mug for $10 and got 3 razors for free!
I can't wait until the lady finds the other box with more razors, mugs, and even some straights!
I will post more pics once I have them cleaned up

EDIT: the mug and 3 razors have been in a lady's uncle's house for at least 1 1/2 years, probably more, so yeah, condition isn't great, but you can't beat the price!
OTOH, you do get what you paid for

sol92258, please do post cleaned pictures, I am curious if there are razors under there ;) I think these are some of the most fun to clean, it can be like seeing a beautiful razor being born

Gold Ball End Tech, looks like it's in nice condition. $6 and change including shipping.

It'll be a nice one to have around for myself, or as a loaner.

2 mug refills of Truefitt & Hill Luxury Shaving Soap. I have never used this soap and heard so many great things about it. I decided to order the mug size refill first, to see if I like it. If so, I'll order the wooden bowl because I definitely need another wooden bowl in my shave closet.

The Thayers I picked up from Whole Foods, the Pashana from ClassicShaving. The Eau de Portugal has a nice citrusy scent as opposed to the Pashana Original which has a stronger, patchouli scent. I think the Eau de Portugal will go nicely with the warmer weather.

Here's another lot I picked up for cheap.. $10.
Only thing I was interested in was the razor on the far right.. front row.
Can anyone guess what it is?
PS.. when I finally get a better camera I'll post the other items for sale in the BST for a bargain..

Okay.. I'm starting to take up space. Refusing to pay $$$ for a razor anymore..
learning to find great deals with a little effort.
I put this Harwick set to use and refilled the bottles with
Pinaud Island Bay Rum and Pinaud Clubman. $7.00 for the set.
The Gillette far right, top row is a minty Sheraton.
The third razor, middle, is a mystery to me.. looks very similar to a vintage Merkur.. I think it's an Apollo. This lot cost me $7.99.
Funny thing with the bargains I have purchased lately, the shipping costs more than items almost all the time! Guess I shouldn't complain eh?

    Okay, last one I swear.
I was searching quite some time for a Ranger Tech and couldn't find one for under $75.. good grief. But I found one, it came with a Valet Autostrop.. complete with new blades, Strop, inserts and instructions!
Both are in fantastic Shape. The box of Permedge blades are new too.. each one individually wrapped so no corrosion.. but I'm still not brave enough to shave with one.
This was the most expensive lot I picked up lately.. $25
