Default Is there such a thing as a Badger Hair Body Brush?

As I was shaving this evening, I was thinking about how easy and pleasant it is to lather with a badger hair brush. Wouldn't it be great if you could have a body brush made out of soft badger hair to use in the shower instead of a loofah or shower pouf?

I'm sure cost would be a factor. I was just curious if such a thing exists, and if not, then why not?

e-shave have a long handled brush with the head at 90 degrees which I believe is meant for ladies shaving, but I guess could double up as a body brush, but I haven't seen a specific mention of a badger hair body brush myself.

I think a stiffer brush is nice for a body brush. It's nice to be able to scrub your back and the badger is going to be softer.

Also, generally body brushes that hang in the shower aren't made to last indefinitely. Badger might be cost-prohibitive.

I believe there are some boar's hair body brushes out there. Sliver-tip body brush might start to get a little spendy.

Hmmm, a quality boar's bristle brush may just do nicely....I know after a coupla months of use, Burma Shave brushes break in and get pretty soft, but still are stiff enough for a good scrub, perhaps would work well as a "body brush"

Thanks for replying! I felt kind of silly posting the question on the forum.

Personally, I would prefer something soft like badger hair or another soft alternative. I just don't like the feel of scratchy natural loofahs and that's why I use a pouf.

A soft boar hair body brush is probably more cost effective. Any good recommendations?

On another note, the Art of Shaving brush might actually make a good body brush with its long handle and 90 degree angle. Hmmm...

I have purchased pleasant body brushes in the past from places like Bath and Body Works, maybe even the Body Shop. I'm sure they were boar. Feels great on your back, not scratchy, IMHO.
