Preserving the Stickers/Ribbons on DR Harris Wooden bowls

A simple easy trick. Take a $4 can of clear gloss enamel spray and give it 2-3 light coats and let it dry. Now the entire bowl including the stickers are water proof and should last for years in that steamy bathroom.

great tip!
have you noticed any yellowing?

Oh man, just this very morning I soaked what was remaining of an old Arlington sticker off. It had gotten too shabby. If only I'd seen this first.

I like it when the wooden bowl gets old. I have a 20-year-old C-M (I think) wooden bowl that is bleached, warped, cracked, and I love it like that. Very wabi-sabi. I have my beloved Trumper Rose soap jammed in it.
