Best save so far.

This morning I got the best shave since I started the straight life. BBS on cheeks and DFS on the neck, no nick not even razor burn. Problem is, I don't know what it was, please give me your thoughts.

-Razor: ENGELWERK vintage Solingen Steel, nothing special, but I just honed it (my second honing job)
-Soap: Wilkinsons Sword, blue tub
-Generic Silver tip Badger brush
-Nuage shaving oil as a base on the first pass
-Shave WTG and ATG, plus touch-ups
-Three days worth of beard
-Cold Water Shave

I hope it's not the three days worth of beard, because the rest I can easily replicate.

May be worth mentioning that I just started with the full metal razors (second time), I had been shaving with a disposable straight for a couple of months, until I got my honing set.

Repeat it and you know you've got something... I still believe that the shavette is a great teacher of "light touch" and getting your angles right.
