Power Brush for Cordovan Care?

I've never found any use for power tools when caring for my shoes. I am new to cordovan, the vast majority of caring for cordovan is lots of brushing with a horse hair brush. Does a power brush make sense for cordovan?

I'm not sure what a power brush is, but my gym has a handy - exceptionally well made machine with wool polishing arms that does a wonder on my shoes (including Cordovan). That said, once you get the initial shine, a quick brush before and after each use (15-20 seconds) does wonders and will keep that shine bright as ever. It's almost like stropping a straight razor, do it daily (and well) and you're set for a year or so before you need to polish.

This is all the power brush you'll need. They run on elbow grease.
