If you missed the second lunar eclipse the other week, here's your chance to catch another wonderful celestial event, the Orionid meteor shower! This is really cool, this is the debris field following Haley's comet! If you didn't see it in 1986 when it was last visible, or don't plan on being around in 2061 when it's next visible, this is a cool annual occurrence that might make up for it a bit.
Long lenses aren't really needed for this, wide angle can catch more sky, but just be sure you point it east in the early morning hours right toward Orion. Sirus and Jupiter will also be visible too!
