tag ... it all means that the "St Sue Auction" will be coming soon. As in, "10/19" it starts and "10/21" it ends.
Those of you who have been around long enough will remember "Saint Sue", the wonderful and kindly lady who founded and ran "St Charles Shaving" for years. Well, after years of participating in our community as well as selling soap (and aftershave balm &c) to our community, Sue found herself in a battle not of her choosing ... with cancer.
Cancer won.
Well, cancer won the first round. But every year, in Sue's memory, we win a round against cancer, raising money to donate to The Cause to fight this horrible disease. I suspect that every single person here has either fought The Battle himself (or herself) or personally knows someone who has. Participate ... donate ... spectate ... please keep the positive vibes going any which way you can, and help us make this the best St Sue Auction yet!!
