Shedding Black Badger knot

So, I changed out the knot in an eBay brush with a TGN black badger knot. Is there anything I can do about the shedding?

How badly is it shedding?

I don't have a basis for comparison because I've never had a knot shed before. It seems that there is hair from the brush in the sink after every shave and it's enough that I notice it. There's usually some on my face as well after I lather.

New knots can shed a little at first. Give it several test lathers, then let it dry completely and comb it out. If it continues to shed contact the vendor.

I just reknotted a brush with a black badger from TGN and it hasn't shed at all. From what I've heard, the owner of TGN, I think his name is Tony, will provide excellent customer service if you have a problem.
