What highly touted brand just doesn't do it for you?

I know blades are the ultimate YMMV. But, PolSilver SIs and Med Preps just give me terrible shaves every time.

This was my feeling as well for my Tech, merkur 34c, and NEW. Then I tried it in a fatboy, it was amazing!

TFS...meh.

RR soaps = meh

Ogallala bay rum, sage & cedar- terrible

Astra blades.

MWF, Vintage Williams (I prefer the modern iteration)

Feathers, Silver Blues (not terrible, but others work so much better for me), TOBS Lime, (performance not bad, smell God awful, too chemical?)
