Gillette Super Adjustable Disassembly

Cap. I just noticed that you painted the indicator spring on my black beauty red! It's been, what, 2 months? You'd think I'd pay closer attention. 😁

Thanks for the nice touch!

Randy

Here is a pair of busted up SA's that I have been desperately tinkering with to make a usable razor. Here is the first one:

Here is the other one...it was so nasty, it never came out of the cleaning bowl for photos.

As you gents can see, this one has some problems.

I had to straighten the indicator spring out without breaking it, tedious work. I then had to assess the handle and TTO parts to see if a sound razor lower could be made and I had to about polish the nickel right off this poor brass to bring the luster back but here she is. I guess we can consider this one a frankensuper:

You do amazing work Cap! I don't have the words to express how grateful I am that you were able to get mine working again!

Holy Cr@p! It LIVES?!?
I can't believe you did it. This is the one that's getting sent off for the 'special' treatment right?
Funny, I had given up on these two and I scored a third (on the way).
Well done Sir!
