Traveling with Safety Razor to Avoid Damage

What brush do you use for traveling? I only have a full size right now.

I have the Muhle STF2 travel brush with the turnback handle.

Since I'm on my desktop now, here is a photo of my gear packed up - the handle gets wrapped in toilet paper to avoid dings.

Thanks for all the ideas, I'm just going to try all of them and see which one works for my decent amount of traveling.

I was thinking of this concept, but using one of those pastic travel 2 piece soap cases. Not as slim as an Altoids case, but thick enough to accommodate a TTO.

So taking all of the ideas, here is what I did earlier this evening. Just took some felt my wife had and cut some wood out and then used spray glue to attach the felt to the case/wood. I opted for the metal tin because of the amount of travel I do, I wanted it to last a little while. :001_smile

Good job smalldog27! I think it looks really good. Did you do anything to the metal tin itself (e.g., affix a shaving-related label or picture on the front)?

I use a tin similar to an Altoids tin to carry my razor, plus a supply of blades. The leather keeps things safe.
The blades are carried in my late father's 1960's Gillette Brass Blade Case.
