MC3, Aye. MRE heaters idea is a great trick, I'll remember that one when they shut our hot water off again

The hot water goes out in our building all the time. I have a hot water kettle that I just plug in and it gives me hot water for shaving in just a couple mintes.

AF TSgt. Currently stationed at Lackland teaching. 11 years in service with about 2 months of that wet shaving with a Merkur 34C. First couple shaves were pretty rough but starting to get the hang of it. Great board and I've learned a ton. Thanks to all the board members for their input and advice for new guys looking for something more out of shaving than carts.

I'm stationed at McChord AFB in Washington State. DE shaving while deployed has gotten me quite a few looks, some laughs, and a lot of questions. Might have some converters! It's a little tougher since I can't really devote a full 45 minutes to it like I would like to. Too many people sharing the same bathroom. I can't hog it up!
I just left Manas to head south. Worst place on earth IMO.

The only thing bad about Manas was the transient tents. If you were permanent party, it wouldn't be so bad. I've been up to Kabul a couple times. I'd rather be in Manas than Kabul.
