    Just came across this thread, not quite sure what this counts for...

    Ramsay, formerly of Her Majesty's Royal Navy as a Lieutenant. Spent most of that time on secondment to another agency. Though no longer an active officer I still consult when requested. Apparently I have 15 years left until they can't re-up me again? not sure if that's a good or bad thing...

    Being across the Atlantic doesn't seem to impede the requests!
