It is a day-date watch marked:"Pacific - Quartz" on the dial, while the movement is marked as: "9 Jewels Japan 590A". Apparently this were rather common here around the '80s but the watch repairman couldn't find one to salvage for parts sadly since this one is fried.

Any suggestion for a place to look for some cheap replacement day-date movement (22mm wide I guess)? Repair man said he can only hook me up with time only (day and date will be manual haha). Watch is obviously not worth much investment .. just sentimental cuz it belonged to my grandpa
