I thought that shaving cream lather, when applied to the face with a brush is supposed to be applied with circular swirls. If so, how does a base layer of noxema remain? Doesn't it it just mix with the shaving cream?
This.I apply noxzema, and then brush the lather over it. I do the same for each pass, and have no issues with the lather mixing with the noxzema.
Thank you, I had that question too.I apply noxzema, and then brush the lather over it. I do the same for each pass, and have no issues with the lather mixing with the noxzema.

Yes, but what is the method of lathering once the noxema is on? Paint it onto your face, or circular swirl strokes like usual?
I don't think it makes a difference. It will mix with the soap any way you do it.
I wonder of anyone shaves using only Noxema and if that works out
At one time (I don't know about now because I no longer buy canned goo) there was a Noxzema shave cream...was the best of the lot, IMHO.
I tried that once and it worked just fine.I wonder of anyone shaves using only Noxema and if that works out
