Had that wisdom tooth pulled this morning.

I had all four of mine out at the same time, it sucked. I dropped off my pain meds and instead of waiting, I went home. BIG MISTAKE on my part because once the pain kicked in it was freaking horrible. I threatened to call 911 on my wife if she didn't take me to pick them up. Then after about 3-4 days I was good to go. However one got infected about two weeks afterward, though it didn't hurt. I noticed some swelling and started poking it, it popped nasty puss out into my mouth.

I hate surgeries as I seem to have **** poor slow recovery and tons of pain.

I was going to be sure to follow a strict ice regime, but they actually advised against using ice at all. They said that since I wasn't impacted and had no swelling beforehand, ice would be unnecessary and possibly detrimental. I'm using the meds as instructed and so far I am not having any issues. A little dizzy and nausea at the moment, I think I am done with the pain meds.
