Tips in Lather for Single Edges (i.e. Cobra)

I get to shave with the Cobra Classic soon and was curious is a slicker lather nicer or something with more cushion and thickness? I will be using some of the Feather Pro blades so it should be pretty aggressive.

I don't think it matters. I don't use anything specific with mine. It's a nice smooth shave. I assume you are part of the pass around, so you'll have a week to experiment with it and try different things for yourself. I was part of the first pass around and got one for myself shortly after. It is so good.

I was very fortunate that I could purchase one and got it today. I have been reading the pass around thread and was reading your posts yesterday. But thanks for the help and I am very happy to try it out today. Thanks again for your response.

I use the same prep and lather for my Cobra that I use for any other razor. I find it a very smooth and efficient razor.

I find that a slicker, painted style lather works better for pretty much anything, but it really depends on your preference. Lather porn doesn't necessarily equal cushion
