How to store strops.

I just received my Star Shaving 2" beginner strop. My house is a very dusty environment and the heavy plastic bag/tube it came in would be ideal to store it. Where can I get more of them to store my other strops in? Maybe make some from visqueen? Butcher paper?
As with the box building thread, I'm hoping for some good ideas.

You could use the sleeves off of old shirts and scrunch them to the top for stropping.

I can't help you here. Lol. I have the strop cover from aframes that I use on my kanayama 60k and I love it. My strop hangs in my small bathroom so the case keeps it water and dust free. One of my favorite things about it is that it keeps the secondary strop from swinging back and forth while you're stropping. But, they're not cheap....

Get some cheap cotton material, and stitch it into a flat "sock" with a hole in the closed end for the hanger to poke through.

..... and be sure to play Revel's Bolero when sliding the "sock" up the strop to use it.

Now see if you can get that mental image out of your mind....
